Our Programs

Medical and Health awareness projects

In Rajasthan

Some 46 HRG beside 5 female partners tested positive up to now for HIV and AIDS. Some 70% linked to ART center. All ORW are from the community. Crisis management team and advocacy committee have been reformed with induction of new members like stakeholders, FSW , MSM community and social workers. WhatsApp group is joined by community members.

We have tried to reach to cover HRG in day and mainly in night due to continuous and regular outreach. RMC has been regular part in the project where doctor had tried to done regular medical checkups of target group.

We had tried to know HRG spots active mainly in night. In them some are highly risky where lot of care needs to be taken and where immediate emergency help is not easy to reach. The hrgs in night are operating in dark and lonely places where police have conducted continuous raids to nab them. Police, newspaper and renovation work under Smart city in Daulat Bagh compels HRGS to shift their places and disturb their operation in their places. Despite lot of crowd at JLN hospital and delay at ICTC window, staff have done testing and this year FICTC establishment helps to test the hrgs in Project.

We have tried to link positive persons to all social scheme and have tried to pursue the department but apathetic attitude of departments have worried. HRG have been linked to Asha Niketan for caring of HIV persons. We have tried to link serious cases of HIV positives to Asha Niketan. The organsiation this year also extend its support by organizing dance of HRGS and participating in rally by dapcu office in CMHO office
